Join Lincoln City Parks & Recreation for an adventure through local open spaces. Lace-up those hiking boots for a guided tour of some of the best trails in Lincoln City. From sweeping ocean views to lakeside forests, you'll be amazed at what you can find right in the heart of the city.
Hiking Exploriences vary in difficulty and accessibility. Know before you go and check out the details for each of them below. Most trails do not have restroom facilities on site.

Spyglass Ridge: 73-acres of forest with a moderate incline. It is a beautiful woodland hike with a 1.25-mile long looped trail, and options for a longer hike if interior trails are explored. For parking, from Hwy 101, turn east onto SE High School Dr, then turn left to SE Spyglass Ridge Dr for approximately 500 ft. Turn right onto the drive leading up to the high school parking lot. The trailhead is just to the north of the lot.
The Knoll: A little sister to Cascade Head, and also within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the meadowed hill north of Lincoln City is affectionately known as "The Knoll." While a moderately difficult 3-mile loop, those who reach the top can breathe in the spectacular views of the Pacific coastline, Devils Lake and Roads End. For parking, from Hwy 101 turn north onto NE Devils Lake Blvd. Follow the road past a gate until you reach a cul-de-sac. Park on the street and the trailhead to the Knoll is just beyond the road.
Agnes Creek: Breathe in two miles of trail through western hemlock, Sitka spruce, and open forest lands. You may catch sight of nesting birds, deer, and other wildlife. For parking, from Hwy 101 turn west onto SW Bard Ave and continue about 1/3 of a mile. Turn right into the parking area, which is connected to the trailhead.
Cutler City Wetlands: A 26-acre Open Space located within the Cutler City neighborhood in the southernmost part of Lincoln City. It has an easy series of trails allowing several routes of exploration through the wetlands. Park at Freed Gallery or 69th St pullout.
Friends of Wildwoods: Enjoy a gentle rolling one-mile hike canopied by tall trees over woodlands, streams, and salt marsh. The trailhead is on West Devils Lake Road, just north of NE 22nd Street at Milepost 2.
Spring Lake: This 2.5-mile relatively easy trail is a short distance from Regatta Grounds. The trail takes you wandering through the wooded area surrounding Spring Lake. For parking, from Hwy 101, turn east onto NE 14th St and continue 1/4 mile, then turn left onto NE Port Ave where you'll find a parking lot on the right next to the trailhead.
