Best Spots to Grab a Holiday Photo in Lincoln City
During the darkest time of year, Lincoln City lights up with some dazzling displays. Here are the best spots to capture the moment with friends and family.
1. Taft Dock
This display of lights reflects brilliantly off the water in Siletz Bay. Grab a photo on the dock itself, from the beach below or inside one of the nearby restaurants. Mo's Restaurant is next door, where travelers can warm up with a bowl of clam chowder and enjoy the lights from inside the dining room.
2. Regatta Park
The party continues at Regatta Park this year, with a jolly jet-ski Santa riding the waves and spreading holiday cheer. Visitors will be surprised at how large this display is in-person. Be sure to also check out the hiking trail and musical instrument playground at this Devils Lake park.
3. Lincoln City Cultural Center
Grab a photo next to the Cultural Center's gigantic tree and tour their recently renovated plaza, which features a "poetry path" of vibrant aggregate rock and a community poem. Be sure to also step inside the Cultural Center, where visitors can find art galleries and a variety of holiday events.
4. Chinook Winds Casino
Visitors will find bright lights at the casino any time of the year, but there are even more during the holiday season. Take a picture at their festive photo booth, and check out one of the many holiday events, from a Christmas Buffet to New Year's Eve Bingo.
5. The Community Center
The Community Center is a hub for Lincoln City activities, and this year they have a fun display in the lobby with the biggest wreath in town. It's sure to put a smile on everyone's face. While at the Community Center, check out the calendar of events, featuring some fun holiday activities like the Jingle Bell Jog on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
6. Driftwood Public Library
Capture the magic of the holiday season with a family photo at the Driftwood Public Library. The library's unique tree, made entirely from books, is the perfect backdrop for a book lover's holiday photo. Visitors can also attend one of the library's holiday events, including a winter solstice celebration on December 21, 2023.
