I grew up on the Oregon Coast and am a lifelong Oregonian. My third great-grandmother came over on the Oregon Trail and my family has been in Oregon since. There is no better place on earth and I am delighted to have spent my career celebrating this diverse, dynamic and stunningly beautiful place.
The Oregon Heritage Tree Nuu-k’wii’daa’naa~-ye’’ Sitka Spruce in Regatta Grounds Park is a remnant of an ancient coastal forest cared for by indigenous peoples since time immemorial. I love the perspective that thinking about all that this tree has witnessed and endured brings.

Taft Beach. I love admiring the gigantic pieces of driftwood here. I think about the journey each log has taken. Some of which may have been seedlings hundreds of years ago. They might have had an epic journey across the ocean. Each piece is an artifact
Shape-shifter. I would like to travel to any place and fit in perfectly without being noticed.
I am originally from Idaho where I was born and raised. Frequent trips to the coast pulled me towards looking for job opportunities in the area. I commute daily from Toledo, and one of the highlights of my morning is to look out over Siletz Bay to see the sea stacks of the "Four Brothers" each morning. Always captivating to see the changes in the light and clouds throughout the seasons as I look out over the Bay.

I'm a fourth generation Oregon Coast native with 14 years of public relations and advertising experience in tourism industries. A perfect day would be grabbing a latte from a local coffee shop and spending time treasure hunting at antique shops.

Teleportation! I would love to be able to travel from one location to another in a blink of an eye!
I have lived and worked on the Oregon coast for the past decade. The sights and the sounds of the ocean never get old. Working at Explore Lincoln City gives me the opportunity to share the joy of being at the beach and all the things it has to offer visitors and locals alike. Working with Finders Keepers floats and their artists is one of my favorite parts of this job. When handling all the glass floats, I think about what went into creating them and the happiness each will bring to it's new home.
The stairwell at NW 21st Street is one of my favorite Lincoln Cityspots to take photographs. Whether gorgeous and sunny or with an epic rollout of clouds, it offers a lovely, elevated view looking both to the north and the south.
As a teen, I had the privilege of visiting Kenya, Africa and spending a month with the Maasai people.
Both born and raised in Oregon, my husband and I moved to Washington after college and spent over 20 years there. We moved to Lincoln City about three years ago after selling our remodeling business and LOVE it here! In my free time I enjoy running, cooking, and gardening.
Each summer our extended family would gather for a week at my parents in the Cutler City neighborhood, so that area holds a special place in my heart.
A trip we made to the east coast was a true adventure! I got to run the Boston Marathon, and my mom was able to find her relatives' names on a ship manifest at Ellis Island.
